Venezuela's National Electoral Council (CNE) will conduct a sample audit of the Sunday's referendum results to clear up opposition charges that President Hugo Chavez won the recall vote by fraud, a spokesman for the Organization of American States (OAS) said on Tuesday.

Chavez won the referendum on his mandate with 58.25 percent of the electorate voted for him to remain in office.
