font size

China now has its first college to provide training for the Internet games industry.

In addition to advanced courses, students at the college will also take part in real software programming projects thanks to the school's close cooperation with renowned Internet game companies.

The college has also licensed 15 training centres to provide the same training program throughout the country.

It is jointly launched by China's Ministry of Information Technology, the Hong Kong Vocational Training Council, and an Internet company in Beijing.

The college was established because of the big demand in China for Internet game developers. It is estimated that 600 thousand internet game talents are needed in this multi-billion industry.
