font size

Indonesian pair Eng Hian/Flandy Limpele claimed the first medal for Indonesia in badminton by beating No.5 seeds Jens Eriksen/Martin Lundgaard 15-13, 15-7 in the men's doubles bronze medal match Friday.

The Danish pair who seemed to be distressed after losing the first set, gave up their resistance in the second set and handed the bronze medal to the 8th seeds.

"I'm quite satisfied with the bronze medal," said Eng Hian, attributing the success to the good cooperation between Flandy and him on the court.

The final of the men's doubles will be held between two South Korean pairs Kim Dong Moon/Ha Tae Kwon and Lee Dong Soo/Yoo Yong Sung Friday afternoon, securing a gold medal for South Korea.
