font size

Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao met Friday with visiting Foreign Minister of Liberia Thomas Nimely, and exchanged views with him on bilateral relations.

The Liberian foreign minister arrived in Beijing on Wednesday. Chinese Foreign Minister Li Zhaoxing told Nimely Thursday that China appreciates Liberia's adherence to the one-China policy.

China and Liberia resumed diplomatic relations last October. Li said China is willing to join hands with Liberia to strengthen political exchanges and to enhance cooperation in such fields as economy and trade, so as to move forward the bilateral ties.
