The French pair were clocked six minutes and 29.18 second for the title.
Slovenian Luka Spik and Iztok Cop, defending champions in Sydney, won the silver with 2.51 seconds behind.
Italian Rossano Galtarossa and Alessio Sartori, who led the race from the start, had to content with the bronze at 3.79.
