Women's badminton duo win China's 17th gold

Chinese shuttlers Yang Wei/Zhang Jiewen (L3-4) show their gold medals at the reward podium for the women's doubles at the Athens 2004 Olympic Games August 21, 2004.
Yang Wei and Zhang Jiewen took the gold medal of the badminton women's doubles after beating their Chinese compatriot Gao Ling and Huang Sui in the final.

Yang and Zhang won the title with a win of 7-15, 15-4, 15-8.

The bronze medal was taken by Ra Kyung Min and Lee Kyung Won ofSouth Korea, who beat Chinese pair Zhao Tingting and Wei Yili 10-15, 15-9, 15-7 in the third place playoff.
