Poland wins men's lightweight double sculls final

Tomasz Kucharski and Robert Sycz of Poland, defending Olympic champions, won their title again in men' s lightweight double sculls of Athens Olympic rowing in Athens on August 22.

Frenchmen Frederic Dufour and Pascal Touron, 28 and 31, fourth finishers in 2003 Milan worlds, took the silver.

Vasileios Polymeros and Nikolaos Skiathitis of Greece, 5th in 2002 Seville world championships, secured a bronze.
