Robert Scheidt of Brazil won the Olympic sailing Laser gold medal on Sunday.

The Brazilian sailor collected 55 net points for the gold, beating Andreas Geritzer of Austria to the second at 68. Vasilij Zbogar of Slovenia finished third at 76.
