font size

Mayor of Paris Bertrand Delanoe on Monday announced concrete measures to fight anti-Semitism following the arson attack on a Jewish center in Paris.

These measures included reinforced security in sensitive buildings, increased video-surveillance system and advertisement campaign, said the mayor.

The city hall of Paris will use all the billboards for a great campaign to heighten public awareness against anti-Semitism, racism and all discriminations from September 1, he noted.

A Jewish social center in Paris was destroyed in the arson on Sunday, and anti-Semitic graffiti and swastikas were found insidethe building.
