China will continue to fight against corruption and build a clean government, China's State Councilor Hua Jianmin said in Beijing Tuesday.

Hua, also secretary-general of the State Council, made the remark in a meeting with a South African delegation led by ML Mushwana, public protector of South Africa.

After briefing the guests China's efforts in the regard, Hua said the Chinese government attaches great importance to the anti-corruption work and has taken concrete measures in this field.

Mushwana said he hopes the two countries will increase exchanges and communication and learn from the other for pushing forward the growth of bilateral relations.

The delegation paid the visit to China at the invitation of China's Ministry of Supervision.
