    Chinese duo wins men's C2 Olympic Gold

    Chinese pair Meng Guanliang and Yang Wenjun won China the 28th gold medal at the Athens Olympic Games when they triumphed in the men's C2 500m final on Saturday.

    Zou Shiming claimed China's first Olympic boxing medal

    Zou Shiming failed to go further inAthens but claimed China's first Olympic boxing medal when he lost to Yan Bhartelemy Varela of Cuba 29-17 in the light flyweight (48kg) semi-finals on Friday.
