Australia beats Netherlands to win men's field hockey gold

Australia defeated the Netherlands 2-1 in extra time after a 1-1 tie in full time to take the men's field hockey gold medal at the Athens Olympic Games in Athens on August 27.

Germany got the bronze medal, beating Spain 4-3 in extra time after a 3-3 tie in full time.
