China and ASEAN Media Cooperation have agreed to increase media exchanges between the two regions.

Representatives at the Second Summit Forum for China and ASEAN Media Cooperation have agreed to increase media exchanges between the two regions. China Radio International reported Saturday.

At the two day summit held in the Guangxi zhuang Autonomous Region, news agencies from China and ASEAN countries agreed, in a"Joint Declaration", to share news coverage, news articles and photos.

The member countries also agreed to expand media cooperation and information exchange in a number of areas including economic reports, web media and coverage of regional events, like the upcoming 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing.
