From January to July 2004, the motorcycle companies in Chongqing has achieved total export amount of US$369.36 million. The market share in Asian and South American is consolidated. The new Shenyang-Dalian expressway opens to traffic on Aug 29. Linking Shenyang, capital of northeast China's Liaoning province, and Dalian, a coastal city on the tip of the Liaodong peninsular, the expanded expressway runs for 348 km from Jinbaotai of Shenyang city to Houyan of Dalian. And the expansion project was completed in 27 months at a cost of 7.2 billion yuan.
