China hopes Iran will fully cooperate with IAEA: FM
font size

Chinese Foreign Minister Li Zhaoxing said in Beijing Monday that China hoped Iran would continue to have the full cooperation of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) to clear up problems that remained unsettled.

Li said that the problems related to nuclear issues in Iran should be solved through dialogue and consultation within the framework of the IAEA.

Li made the remarks in a meeting with Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister Gholamali Khoshru in Beijing.

Khoshru said Iran's nuclear program was entirely peaceful and Iran would continue to cooperate with the IAEA.

Li and Khoshru also exchanged their views on other issues of mutual concern.

Prior to the meeting, Khoshru had a consultation with China's Assistant Foreign Minister Shen Guofang.
