Private detective firm has trademark registered

China's first private detective firm has registered its trademark, as authorized by the state's trademark office. The private detective firm is located in southwest China's Chongqing Municipality

Located in southwest China's Chongqing Municipality, the private detective firm acquired its trademark after two years of examination by the government. China Radio International reported Tuesday.

In August 2002, China issued new trademark registration regulations, to increase the number of registrable categories of goods and services from 42 to 45.

Private bodyguard firms and companies devoted to tracking down missing persons can now also apply for a trademark..
