Intel, the world's largest chip maker, on Tuesday introduced two mobile Celeron chips, Celeron M processor 350 and 360, boosting frequency and cache of the value chips.
The two new chips run at frequencies of 1.30 GHz and 1.40 GHz, respectively, and feature a 400MHz system bus and 1MB of Level 2 cache, almost doubling the cache of the previous generation Celeron M chips, according to Intel.
Intel said the new chips, designed for thin and light notebook computers, are the first standard-voltage Celeron M processors built on 90 nanometer (nm) process technology.
Intel priced Celeron M processor 350 and 360 at 107 US dollars and 134 dollars, respectively, in 1,000-unit quantities.
