He Yong, member of the Secretariat of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) met Thursday with Andros Kyprianou, member of the political bureau and secretary of international affairs of the Progressive Party of Working People of Cyprus.

The two sides exchanged views on furthering the friendly and cooperative relations between the two parties and two countries.

He, also deputy secretary of the CPC Central Commission for Discipline Inspection, expressed appreciation and gratitude to the Cyprus party's adherence to the one-China policy.

The Cyprus delegation was here to attend the Third International Conference of Asian Political Parties (ICAPP), due to be held in Beijing from Sept. 3 to Sept. 5.
