Chinese top legislator told a party leader from the Philippines here Friday that China appreciates the Philippines' adherence to the one-China policy.

De Venecia came to China to attend the Third International Conference of Asian Political Parties, which opened here Friday. "Leaders of the two countries have established the relations of mutual trust," Wu said.
Wu said he hoped the two sides will actively implement cooperative agreements and further tap cooperative potentials.
De Venecia once again explicitly reiterated the Philippine government's firm adherence to the one-China policy. He said he was satisfied with the progress made by the two countries in the field of economic cooperation.
