The Elite Model Look -- HK 2004 Final was held here Friday, with Melanie Z, aged 19, winning the champion.

The contest was a search for a top caliber local model to represent Hong Kong at the Elite Model Look International Final in Shanghai in November.

The event comprised five main sections with 22 contestants wearing sportswear, Swimwear, casual elegant wear, executive wear and evening wear. In addition to the champion, 1st and 2nd runners up, Miss Photogenic, Miss Perfect Legs, and The Premium Beauty Award were also presented in the event.

General Manager of Elite Model Management Paul Lau said: "We also hope our local models can have a chance to get international exposure in order to widen their visions and gain international experience".

This is the fifth time that Hong Kong has participated in the annual global search. The Elite Model Look offers aspiring young models an extremely high level of international exposure as well as the opportunity to further their modeling career with one of the world's leading agencies.

Judging members of the contest included international Director of Model Movement for the Elite Network Stephane Pescimoro, Head of Fashion of Hong Kong Trade Development Council Patrick Lam, famous fashion designer Lu Lu Cheung, and famous international model Vanessa Yeung etc.
