Prince documents AIDS-sricken country on film

Britain's Prince Harry has made a documentary film about the plight of the Aids-stricken nation of Lesotho in Africa.

    Lesotho has one of the world's highest rates of HIV-Aids, with about 40% of its population thought to be infected.

Prime Minister Mosisili had an HIV test in public earlier this year in a bid to encourage people to be tested for the disease.

Lesotho's life expectancy is 32 years for men and 38 for women, which is less than half the life expectancy for British men and women.

The Kingdom of Lesotho was called Basutoland until it became independent from the UK in 1966. It was under military rule for 23 years, but constitutional government was restored in 1993.
