Peng/Lee make history to enter last eight in US Open

Guangzhou Toyota Motor Co., Ltd founded in Guangzhou
On Sept 6, Shoichiro Toyoda (R2), Toyota Motor Corporation Honorary Chairman and Governor of Guangdong Province Huang Huahua (L3) present at the founding ceremony for the Guangzhou Toyota Motor Co., Ltd, a joint venture between the Guangzhou MOtor Group and Toyota Motor Corporation with total investment of 3.121 bln yuan. The new generation of Toyota Camery is chosen as the first car to be produced. The production capacity of the company is 100,000 annualy and car will be put into production in 2006.

The west-east gas pipeline ready for use
Workers cheer as natural gas from the Lunnan station of the Tarim natural gas field in Northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region enters the Jingbian compression station in northwest China's Shaanxi Province at about 11:50 a.m. Sept 6, 2004. The gas entrance marked the west-east gas pipeline's readiness for actual use, and the convergence of the Tarim natural gas field with Changqing gas field, starting point of the eastern section of the 4,000-km-long pipeline project.

Fire kills five in a fur factory in Xinji, Hebei Province

Primary investigation by local fire fighting team and police shows that briquette could burn the production materials, causing the fire.
