China edged Thailand out 2-1 in the first round of the tournament on September 4 and now is on top of Group A with two wins.

China will take on their last group rival, Japan, on Wednesday.

Japan lost to Thailand 2-1 in another Group A match and is at the bottom of the group with one draw and one loss.

The tournament features 16 countries, with the top three to represent the Asian continent in the FIFA Under-17 World Championship in Peru next year.
