font size

The China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), China's largest trade and investment promotion organization, will organize five major activities at the 8th China International Fair for Investment and Trade.

The fair, one of China's top fairs for attracting investment and promoting trade, started in Xiamen, economic hub of eastern China's Fujian Province, Wednesday morning.

Those activities include round-table discussion, seminars and entrepreneur's council meetings involving delegates with 169 overseas investors from 16 countries and regions such as Singapore, Cuba and Canada.

The CCPIT will not only attract foreign investment into China, but will also strive to induce Chinese investors to go abroad during the fair, CCPIT press officer Han Daqing said.
