130,000 rally against terror in Moscow
The gathering was the largest among many held all over Russia Tuesday as the nation was in its second official day of mourning for Beslan victims, China Radio International reported Wednesday. Deputies from State Duma, State and Moscow city government joined in the rally guarded by 4,000 security forces. A resolution was passed on the rally to call for every possible measure from the president, government and parliament to set up an anti-terrorism system. Meanwhile, Russian President Vladimir Putin attended a Moscow church to pray for the victims in Beslan hostage crisis.
