Authorities deploy grain purchasing

The National Development and Reform Commission and the State Grain Administration noted at a TV conference that various localities must pay high attention to the purchasing of medium and late long-grain nonglutinous rice and round shaped rice and do well the work.

The authorities said that the work bears much significance to protecting the farmers¡¯ enthusiasm and the supply in the market. They asked the localities to seize the time to enrich local reserves and commercial turnover stocks at the opportunity of medium and late rice purchasing.

Local agricultural development banks are required to actively do well the granting of grain purchasing loans and issue timely loans while strictly controlling the risks.

Industrial and commercial administrations at various levels are supposed to tighten market management and maintain the order of grain purchasing.
