Senior CPC official arrives in DPRK for goodwill visit

Li Changchun, member of the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC), arrived in Pyongyang Friday for an official goodwill visitto the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK).

Li is leading a delegation of the CPC and the Chinese government for the visit at the invitation of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) and the DPRK government.

Choe Tae Bok, secretary of the WPK Central Committee and Chairman of the Supreme People's Assembly, greeted the Chinese delegation at the airport.

Li's entourage includes Wang Jiarui, head of the CPC Central Committee's International Department, Ji Bingxuan, deputy head of the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee, Cultural Minister Sun Jiazheng and some other senior Chinese officials.
