Jia Qinglin back to Beijing after four-nation tour

Jia Qinglin, chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), flew back to Beijing Saturday, after winding up his official goodwill visit to the Republic of Korea (ROK), Austria, Spain and Portugal from Aug. 26 to Sept. 10.

Jia, head of China's top advisory body, paid the visit as guest of speaker Kim One Kiof the ROK National Assembly, president Anna Elisabeth Haselbach of the Austrian Parliament, president Javier Rojo of the Spanish Senate, and president Mota Amaral of the Assembly of Portugal.
