President Hu extends Teachers' Day greetings

Chinese President Hu Jintao (1st R), also general secretary of the Chinese Communist Party Central Committee, Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao (2nd R) and Chinese Vice President Zeng Qinghong (3rd R) meet with representatives of outstanding teachers from all over the country at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing Sept. 10, 2004. Two decades after China created a Teachers' Day, which falls on September 10, teaching has come to be regarded as one of the best professions in China.
