| The Swiss top seed will now face Britain's Tim Henman, who beat Slovakia's Dominik Hrbaty, for a place in Sunday's final, reported China Radio International Friday.
In the women's tournament, Lindsay Davenport will face Svetlana Kuznetsova and Jennifer Capriati plays Elena Dementieva with the winners advancing to Saturday night's final.
