New Silk Road Chinese Model Contest 2004 concludes
Yang Jin, 20, a model from Chongqing, claims the title of Miss China. The finals of the New Silk Road Chinese Model Contest 2004 is held on Sept 12 in Sanya, Hainan Province. A total of 46 female models and 29 male models take part in the competition. Mu Zhonghua claims the title of Mr. China and Yang Jin wins "Miss China". Both of them will represent China in the Mr. World and Miss World contest this year.

Guangzhou Honda to produce Fit compact car
Guangzhou Honda Motor Co., Ltd held a ceremony marking the production of the 1.3-liter Fit Saloon compact passenger cars in Guangzhou, Capital of south China's Guangdong Province on Sept 12. The Fit compact car has drawn public attention by its big space and the feul consumption between 4.9 to 5.1 liter per 100 kms.
