Tung said he will start to meet those newly-elected legislators from Tuesday, and to discuss with them ways to enhance the relationship between the administration and the legislature, and to outline top priorities for the administration in the future.
The Hong Kong chief said he also looked forward to frequent talks with the legislators on matters of common concern for the Hong Kong people and other social, political and economic issues.
Tung said the people of Hong Kong welcome Hong Kong's economic revival, social harmony and the smooth election of the new legislature.
He said his administration will join hands with the legislators and people from all walks of life and will spare no efforts to maintain the prosperity and stability of Hong Kong.
