Dmitry Kozak to head Federal Commission fo Russia's North Caucasus

Pursuant to Russian President Vladimir Putin's order a federal commission has been formed and put in charge of the North Caucasus.

The Federal Commission for the North Caucasus will be headed by the head of state's plenipotentiary representative in the Southern Federal District, Dmitry Kozak.

The core directions in the work of the commission are to be the economy, social sphere, and certain powers in the sphere of security, Vladimir Putin said at the expanded-format meeting of the Russian government on Monday.
