Officials with China Post said at the opening ceremony that the market demand for international money transfer in Beijing is expanding with the development of the capital's opening-up, and the establishment of the store will further satisfy Beijing consumers' demand on the service.

Western Union Financial Services, Inc. a subsidiary of FirstData Corp, is a global leader in money transfer and message services. It set up its first flagship store in China in Wenzhou City in east China's Zhejiang Province in 2003. Now it has more than 70 flagship stores throughout China.
