font size

With tickets sold out for the opening ceremony of the 12th Paralympic Games, the organizers expect that ticket sales will reach 400,000 for all sports events by the end of the games.

Three days before the games open on September 17, 250,000 tickets had been sold at a rate of 13,000 - 14,000 per day and a record of 18, 500 were sold last Thursday. The daily access tickets at 10 euros for main Olympic OAKA complex, where most of the competitions will take place, do not provide for designated seats.

Those will be available only for the finals in tennis, basketball and swimming, from September 24-28, daily newspaper To Vima reported on Tuesday. The tickets for the closing ceremony are being sold at a rate of 3,000-4,000 per day.
