Consultation set on civil service pay
font size

A consultation paper on an improved civil service pay adjustment mechanism will be issued by year's end in Hong Kong for extensive consultation, according to a government news release on Wednesday.

Responding to media enquiries about the application of results of the Pay Level Survey, the Civil Service Bureau Wednesday said it has spoken with major staff unions on the methodology and application of the study since it started in April last year.

A consultative group comprising staff representatives to collect staff views has been set up and the Government will take account of views from the civil service as well as the community before making a decision.
