Price of Jetta falls below RMB 90,000

Jetta, which always at top of the car selling board, is inevitablely draw into the price war, according to CRIENGLISH.com.

On Wednesday 15th Sep, sources from the Jetta franchiser say price of New Jetta has fall below 90,000 Yuan or 11 thousand US dollars for the first time, the bottom price is 87,900 yuan.

Experts in car industry are not optimistic about the price war heating in the car market. They predict even price cutting is going under way, there is no symptom of rebounce in the September car market as previous years. So the situation of the cold market will last till next March or April.

Some experts also say they'd rather see car maker reduce the production to gain a reasonable price than slash car price.
