    American hostage killed in Iraq

A militant group headed by al Qaeda ally Abu Musab al-Zarqawi said on Monday it had beheaded an American hostage and posted a video of the killing on the Internet.The video, identified the hostage as Eugene Armstrong and showed a masked man sawing his head off with a knife.     Susilo leads Megawati in Indonesian general election

    The General Elections Commission (KPU) holds a press conference in Jakarta, Indonesia, at night of Sept.20, 2004. By 8:00 p.m. of Sept. 20, ballots counting results showed that Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, the candidate of the Indonesian Democratic Party, and his running mate Jusuf Kalla led the incumbent President Megawati Soekarnoputri and her running mate Hasim Muzadi. It is estimated that Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono will win 61.2 percent of the votes while Megawati Soekarnoputri will get 38.8 percent of the votes.
