China's first ever novel transmitted to readers through SMS is all set to be made into a film.
According to The Straits Times, the film will also be transmitted to audiences in 30 to 40 segments enabling viewers to watch it on their cellphones as well as the Internet, China Radio International reported Tuesday.
Presently, the novel titled 'Outside The Fortress Besieged' written by ethnic Mongolian businessman He Xingnian, is being sent through SMS to subscribers in two daily instalments of 70 characters each.
