Six oil and gas sectors open to foreign investment

Foreign investors will be allowed the access to six oil and gas sectors in China, released Zhang Guobao, Vice Chairman of State Development and Reform Commission on September 20 at China International Summit for Petroleum and Petro-chem Enterprises.

The six sectors are gas exploitation and development, oil and gas infrastructure, urban natural gas terminal sales pipeline, power generation by natural gas, exploitation and utilization of coal-bed methane, petro-chemical industry.

Zhang said business opportunities in the six sectors would be the most promising and enormous in China's energy market.
