The government has released a list of China's top domestic companies.

Data from the National Bureau of Statistics shows that Chinese enterprises have developed rapidly in the past year, and efficiency has improved considerably.

The total number of firms with assets of over 10 billion yuan exceeded 230, that's up 20 percent compared with the previous year. Telecom, energy and power grid companies are among the top of the list in terms of both total assets and operating funds.
