Chinese State Councilor Tang Jiaxuan met with Leo Falcam, former president of Micronesia in Beijing on September 22.

The two sides discussed bilateral ties and regional and international issues of both concern.

Falcam assumed the office of Micronesian president from 1996 to 1997 and from 1999 to 2003. He has visited China as president in 2000.
