Chinese Vice Premier Hui Liangyu said Wednesday that China will continue to encourage foreign enterprises to join its packaging market with an open and impartial attitude.
Hui made the remark in a meeting with Nick Shreiber, president and chief executive officer of the Tetra Pak group, and his party.
Hui thanked Tetra Pak for its investment in China and the company's contribution to the development of China's packaging and liquid food industries. "China's milk, food and packaging industries are of great potential and there are still large room for further cooperation between China and Tetra Pak."
Shreiber thanked the Chinese government for its consistent support and expressed the company's willingness for enhance cooperation with China.
Shreiber was in China at the invitation of the Commission for Supervision and Management of State-owned Properties under the State Council.
