font size

Chinese Ambassador to Kenya Guo Chongli said in Naorobi on September 23 that China will foster stronger ties with Kenya on the exchange and cooperation of youth organizations.

"We can't always build a future for our youth, but we can build our youth for the future," Guo said at a hand-over ceremony of donated office equipment to Kenya National Youth Service.

The office equipment including 40 computers were donated by All-China Youth Federation and worth 25,000 US dollars.

"They are not only a gift from All-China Youth Federation to Kenya Youth Service, but also a symbol of friendship that millionsof Chinese young people cherish toward their Kenyan peers," Guo said.

"It is my sincere hope that from today on exchanges and cooperation between youth organizations of our two countries will be further strengthened," added the ambassador.

Kenyan Vice President Moody Awori thanked the Chinese youth federation at the ceremony, and pledged that his government will also deepen the friendship between the two countries and the peoples.
