CPPCC vice-chairman Wang meets Bangladeshi guest

Wang Zhongyu, vice-chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), met with Salauddin Quader Chowdhury, advisor for parliamentary affairs to the Bangladeshi prime minister, here Thursday.

Wang said the Bangladeshi government has contributed to regional cooperation and peace and stability in South Asia, and that the Chinese appreciate Bangladesh's adherence to the One-China Policy.

The two sides also exchanged views on bilateral relations and other issues of common concern.
