Gu Xiulian, vice-chairwoman of the Standing Committee of China's National People's Congress (NPC), met in Beijing on September 24 with a delegation of the Romanian Chamber of Deputies.

She expressed her appreciation on Romania's long-term adherence to the "One-China Principle."

Gu also briefed the guests on the NPC and the Fourth Plenary Session of the Communist Party of China's (CPC) 16th Central Committee, which concluded here last Sunday.
