Provisional result of Indonesian presidential election

The following are the provisional results of the Indonesian presidential election published by the General Elections Commission (KPU) as of Friday:

Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono 65,888,299 votes 61 percent

Megawati Soekarnoputri 42,119,482 votes 39 percent

Total 108,007,781 votes

The KPU has said the number of eligible voters stood at more than 153 million with an estimated 125 million exercising their rights.
