CISCO to invest 32 million dollars in China

CISCO has announced that it will spend 32 million US dollars establishing its Shanghai research centre in the next five years, China Radio International reported Friday.

Chambers notes that the research centre will be set up at the third quarter of the 2005 fiscal year of CISCO and it will be devoted to the development of audio technology.

In addition, chambers indicates the new centre will be the largest in Asia.

John Chambers has replaced Bill Gates as NO.1 among the top 50 most influential IT figures.
