Chinese athletes continued to perform well in athletics competitions of the 2004 Athens Paralympic Games Friday, adding three fresh gold medals to China's medal tally.

Wang Ting won women's Class F54/55 discus throw event, the first gold medal of the day. Her teammate Chen Liping got a bronze medal.

China dominated men's Class F36 discus throw event as Yan Feng and Fu Xinhan took the top two spots.

Wu Chunmiao won her first Paralympic gold medal in women's Class T11 200m race, after grabbing a silver in the 100m on Monday.

In men's Class F46 triple jump, Miao Wenjie and Zhang Hongwei contributed another silver-bronze performance to China.

China has so far won 15 gold medals in athletics in the Athens games, already exceeding the original goal of 11. For the remaining three competition days in the sport, Chinese athletes are hopeful of winning more gold medals.
