font size

Peter Phillips, grandson of Britain's Queen Elizabeth, escaped uninjured after being involved in a car crash on his way to Chinese Grand Prix on September 26.

Phillips, son of Princess Anne, works in the Williams team's marketing department.

He and the other three Williams employees were in a van heading for the Shanghai circuit when hit by a car at high speed.

Team members were taken to hospital for checks but neither were seriously hurt, said the Williams spokesman.

None of the occupants of the other vehicle were hurt.
